Christina Hall is feeling grateful.

Sharing a post on her Instagram grid Wednesday, Sept. 4, the HGTV star revealed she was glad her parents, Paul and Laurie Haack, taught her the importance of making her own money.

“Thanks mom & dad for always teaching me about hard work and making sure I knew the importance of making my own money,” her caption read alongside a smiley selfie.

In the Instagram snap, which she shared amid her divorce from Josh Hall after almost three years of marriage, Christina, 41, looked happy and relaxed as she sported a pair of sunglasses and wore her hair in a middle-parted style.

She continued of money, “It doesn’t buy ‘happiness’ but it does buy more opportunities & less people being able to mess with me ... and that makes me happy ❤️😉.”

The real-estate investor’s new post comes after she shared a clip of herself after getting her hair and makeup done.

In a joint Instagram post shared with makeup artist Julia Gonzales, the Christina on the Coast star flashed a beaming smile before flipping her hair.

“It’s giving confident and carefree — because when the glam is on point, so is the energy ???? @thechristinahall @juliagonzales_beauty,” Gonzales' caption read.

eanwhile, Christina’s husband Josh, 43, filed for divorce back in July. In documents obtained by PEOPLE on July 16, Josh had filed the previous day, citing "irreconcilable differences" and requesting spousal support.

The mother of three — who shares son Hudson, 4, with ex-husband Ant Anstead, plus daughter Taylor Reese, 13, and son Brayden James, 9, with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa — then responded by filing on July 24 and requesting that neither party receive spousal support.

The following month, Christina shared photos on her Instagram Stories showing her and her children embarking on a summer getaway, captioning one image, “Headed on an adventure."

The star then shared a snap of herself standing by a door with the caption, “When traveling alone with 4 kids to LAX this is the only way to get stress free@reserveps.”

“Snacks on snacks and a cocktail for mama,” shewrote in her caption alongside a clip of a kitchen filled with snacks and beverages. She then added over a video of theinterior of a cardriving her toward an airplane, “Coming in hot ... "

Christina’s Instagram Stories’ clips then concluded with her and her travel party — including her three children and another girl — boarding their plane.
