Blake Lively Tells You Exactly What to Use to Recreate Some of Her Favorite Hairstyles (Exclusive)

Blake Lively's golden blonde hair has been the MVP of many a Pinterest board for as long as the star has been in the spotlight.

And while most of us aren't as follicularly blessed as the 37-year-old actress and entrepreneur, at least now we can use what she uses to keep her hair healthy and glorious with her hair care line, Blake Brown, which launched in July.

“There are a lot of great options out there, but nothing that was doing all the things that I wanted, which was clean formulas with incredible performance at a mass price point with a fragrance that I would spray on my body,” Lively previously told PEOPLE of the brand. “I didn't want to step into something that someone else had already created because I wanted to replicate the systems and the patterns that I already loved.”

The It Ends With Us actress is also letting us in on another secret: exactly how she achieved three of her favorite red carpet hair looks, plus the Blake Brown products you can use to get a similar style at home.

Lively chose a pink sequined Prabal Gurung gown with cutouts for the premiere of husbandRyan Reynolds' movie Fall Guy in August 2021. When the star turned around, she revealed that the design had an open back, which she accentuated with a ponytail adorned with a sparkly detail.

"Jewelry woven into hair is a quick and easy way to glam your hair," Lively tells PEOPLE. "Whether your hair is clean or dirty, or if you have 10 mins or an hour, adding jewelry, chains, beads or ribbons to an unstructured ponytail or braid instantly makes your hairdo feel playful and unique."

To create this look, dry shampoo is key, she says. "Whether my hair is clean or dirty, I always use our Blake Brown Dry Shampoo because it’s bothtexturizing and volumizing andI always want volume, even when my hair is slicked back," Lively says. "I use dry shampoo through my ends so that my pony or braid has as much thickness as possible."

The star adds, "The most important part is to have fun with it. I’ve been using stacked hoops to cover my hair tie lately. Who needs hair accessories? (I probably do!)"

Lively brought a surprise plus one to the New York City premiere ofPokémon: Detective Pikach -

u in May 2019. Her on-theme sequined Retrofête slip dress revealed that she and Reynolds were expecting their third child. Yet, even with this headline-making news, Lively's fluffy ringlets still managed to have their moment.

"This hair takes time if you don’t have naturally curly hair," Lively recalls of the look.

For this style, she washes with Blake Brown Strengthening Shampoo and Strengthening Mask. She famously skips traditional conditioner in favor of a mask, but is careful not to go overboard with the product, "since too much nourishmentwill cause my hair to fight holding the curl."

Lively dazzled in a Tamara Ralph diamond chainmail minidress and dramatic cape at the LACMA Art + Film Gala on Nov 2. She accessorized the ensemble with her signature waves.

"This look was achieved by washing with our Nourishing Shampoo and Mask duo," Lively says. She then added extra hydration with her leave-in. "I ALWAYS use my leave-in on towel dried hair — yes even after using a mask."

The star recalls that her hairstylist Jennifer Yepez used "a ton" of Blake Brown Glam Mousse before drying her hair.

"You can use hot rollers or a big barrel curling iron for a glamorous yet lived-in look," Lively explains. "She twists the strands a little before wrapping around the roller or the barrel, and she leaves the ends out so it’s a little straighter at the bottom for a more relaxed feeling. I like when hair doesn’t look too fussy so I always use our Blake Brown Dry Shampoo for added volume, texture and a look of ease."
