The suspect accused of killing four people and injuring several others at a high school in Georgia was interviewed by law enforcement about alleged threats more than a year before the deadly shooting.
The accused shooter, identified as 14-year-old student Colt Gray, allegedly began firing shots at Apalachee High School in Winder, Ga., in the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 4, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said. "The Jackson County Sheriff's Office located a possible subject, a 13-year-old male, and interviewed him and his father," FBI Atlanta continued in their statement. "The father stated he had hunting gu -
ns in the house, but the subject did not have unsupervised access to them. The subject denied making the the threats online."
The FBI also said there was no probable cause for an arrest or any further law enforcement action, but local schools were notified for "continued monitoring of the subject."
