Democrat Tim Walz and Republican JD Vance will go head to head on Tuesday night for the first and only VP debate of the 2024 election season. With only five short weeks until Election Day, what’s said on stage tonight has the potential to swing key battleground states ahead of Nov. 5. (Trump and Harris remain close in North Carolina, polls show).
The Walz-Vance VP debate will take place in New York at 9 p. m. ET and will broadcast live on CBS and will simulcast on CNN. Those without cable can stream the VP debate live online through a variety of Live TV streamers such as Hulu + Live TV, DirecTV, Sling TV and Fubo TV.
The VP debate will also be available to stream on Peacock and Paramount+.

Walz has also embraced the role of attack dog, charging that the Republicans have twisted the idea of freedom by intruding into decisions about abortion and fertility.
“I can’t wait to debate the guy,” Walz said during his debut as the vice presidential candidate. “That is, if he’s willing to get off the couch and show up.”
Meanwhile, Vance is shaping up to be one of the least popular VP candidate in recent times. The Ohio senator will be expected to explain past controversial remarks, such as his comments denigrating childless cat ladies and immigrants.
