Kim Kardashian is continuing to expand her footprint as a TV producer at Disney. The reality star-turned-actor has entered a first look deal at 20th Television, through which she will develop dramas, comedies and limited series.

The first new project in development under the deal is “Group Chat,” a series based on La La Anthony‘s 2014 book “The Love Playbook: Rules for Love, Sex and Happiness.” Anthony will star in the project and executive produce alongside Kardashian and Kenya Barris, who serves as creator via his Khalabo Ink Society banner. Khalabo’s Adam Kassan also executive produces. BET Studios co-produces with 20th.

If greenlit, “Group Chat” will stream on Hulu.

The deal and development announcement follow a big year for Kardashian, who recently starred in “American Horror Story: Delicate,” created by Ryan Murphy and produced by 20th. She and Murphy have also set a legal drama at the studio, in which she stars as a divorce attorney. Additionally, her family’s unscripted series “The Kardashians” was recently renewed for a sixth season.

“I’m incredibly interested in telling stories -

that are personal, complicated, relevant, from my own experiences and those familiar to me,” Kardashian said in a statement. I had a front row seat to working with the exceptional team at 20th Television during ‘American Horror Story: Delicate’, and I’m so excited to dive into developing my first wave of television projects with the team led by Karey Burke and Eric Schrier, and to continue working alongside Craig Erwich and his entire group at Hulu and Disney.”

“Kim is a multi-hyphenate in every sense of the word, who has her finger on the pulse of the zeitgeist while simultaneously helping to define it. Her success in television with our teams — from ‘The Kardashians’ to ‘American Horror Story: Delicate’ — coupled with her ability to capture the imaginations of millions, puts her in the unique position to develop and produce stories that will undoubtedly pierce the culture,” said Karey Burke, president of 20th Television, and Craig Erwich, president of Disney Television Group.
