Moriah Reveals She's Back with Her Ex but Ethan Is Furious and Asks 'You Got Any Bail Money?': Welcome to Plathville

Moriah Plath is dropping a major bombshell on the family ahead of their big concert.

On the season 6 finale of Welcome to Plathville, Moriah revealed to brother Ethan that she got back together with her ex-boyfriend. In the shocking moment, Ethan questioned why Moriah would rekindle the relationship after finding out the man had a secret girlfriend and child when they were together in the past.

“He reached out to me and said, ‘If you're looking for answers, feel free to call me, text me. I am more than willing to explain things to you and your family,’” she shared. “And I took him up on his offer and met with him and talked, and it all makes sense now.”

“How do you know he’s being honest now?” Ethan questioned, to which Moriah replied: “I talked to him for four hours. I knew things he didn't know that I knew. He explained all of it, even pieces that I wasn't even planning on asking about.”

Ethan wasn’t satisfied with that answer, though, and went on to press Moriah for details.

“You want to be with someone that lied to you from the start?” he asked before telling cameras, “He was the reason why me and Mariah didn't have a relationship for a year. He told her not to have a relationship with me.”

He continued: “I'm worried that he will pull Moriah back away from this family. I'm worried that Moriah will not be treated like she deserves to be treated. I don't know what Moriah sees in this guy.”

In the past, Moriah told the family that her ex was “a good talker,” Ethan said, before asking how she could be sure what he says is true. Moriah then defended her ex, frustrating Ethan further.

“I understand that there's multiple reasons that Ethan is upset and reacting the way that he is,” she said in her confessional. “I don't know if one of those is because he thinks that this is the reason that Ethan and I's relationship wasn't good for a while, but that's not necessarily true. The decisions I made and how I handled myself is nobody's fault but my own.”

“Between me, Micah and Isaac he doesn't stand a chance,” Ethan joked.

“I will protect him,” Moriah snapped back. “I want him and I want a family one day. Only time will tell what will happen, but I'm willing to give it a shot.”

Moriah then asked Ethan to meet with h -

er ex, but Ethan declined. 

“I’m not giving him a chance,” he said. “He had a chance a long time ago, and he blew it.”

As he got up to go to his birthday lunch, Ethan left his sister with a warning: “Love is blind, Moriah. Be careful.”

Later in the episode, Moriah shared with Ethan that she planned to bring her ex to the concert the next day. After telling her it wasn’t a good idea, Moriah got up and left the table, and Ethan decided to tell the family what was going on.

“It is mind-blowing,” brother Micah said as his girlfriend Veronica sarcastically quipped, “Hold my earrings.”

“What is she going to say in front of everybody?” Veronica added. “‘Oh, hey, the guy who was so rude to me and manipulated me is back, but, you know, it's all good.’ How's that going to go over?”

Discussing how to handle the situation, Barry noted, “I don’t think any of us like it, but he’s back in her life.” 

“You got any bail money?” Ethan teased, prompting laughs from his brothers.

Several siblings then went to find Moriah and talk her out of bringing her ex around. Tracking her location on their phones, they eventually discovered her in the car with him, so they forced her to leave with them.

“This whole thing is annoying,” Moriah said as she walked away.

The next morning, parents Kim and Barry decided to talk to Moriah and encourage her to focus on the concert rather than her boyfriend.

“I don't like at all how yesterday went, and I was upset about it, but I understand where everybody's coming from and I'm thankful for all of you for looking out for me and caring enough to be mad,” she told them.

Moriah maintained that she was going to try to work things out in her relationship, but uninvited her boyfriend from the show.

“I wish I could have snuck my man in, but maybe next time,” she said with a laugh as the epiosde concluded.
