Rich Homie Quan’s cause of death has been revealed.

The hip-hop star, 34, died from an accidental drug overdose, according to a report by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

Per the report, which was obtained by PEOPLE, Several drugs were found in his system including fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine, promethazine and THC.

The report also indicated that the late rapper showed no signs of trauma when his body was found and examined. His death was ruled an accident.

The “Type of Way” rapper (né Dequantes Devontay Lamar) died in Atlanta on Sept. 5. An autopsy was performed the next day, with the medical examiner’s office saying at the time that his cause and manner of death was “pending the completion of laboratory studies and microscopic examination of tissue slides.”

According to an incident reported obtained by PEOPLE, Lamar’s brother told police that he woke up at 3 a.m. on the day of his brother’s death and noticed the rapper asleep on the floor by the kitchen with food in his mouth, which he thought was “very unusual.” He then picked the star up off the floor and put him on the couch.

A woman ultimately called police later that morning at 11 a.m. after noticing Lamar’s body was cold and he was not breathing. She told officers -

that she’d seen him on the couch earlier that morning, but assumed he was asleep, according to the report.

The rapper, a proud father of five, was laid to rest in Georgia on Sept. 17 with a viewing and a celebration of life event. Fans were invited to the event, and it was livestreamed on his website. He was dad to sons Devin, Royal, Khosen and Loyal, and daughter Alayna.

In the wake of Lamar’s death, his family shared a statement exclusively with PEOPLE about the ways in which they hoped to keep his legacy alive.

“On Thursday, September 5, 2024 the Lamar family lost our beloved son, brother, father and friend. Known to the world as Rich Homie Quan, Dequantes Devontay Lamar was a proud native of the great city of Atlanta, Georgia and represented for the A as he and his music traveled across this globe,” the statement read. 

It continued, “While he leaves us with an undeniable hole in our hearts, we are comforted by knowing his music and triumphant spirit lives on. Quan’s legacy will forever be cemented as a soundtrack to our lives. And for this, we are grateful. Celebration of life details will be shared soon. Thank you to everyone for your kind words and support at this difficult time.”
