Krispy Kreme Introduces 3 New Kit Kat Donuts That Are Both ‘Creamy and Crispy’

Krispy Kreme and Kit Kat fans have a new reason to take a break. 

The doughnut brand announced on Wednesday that it is partnering with the candy brand to release three Kit Kat-themed donuts focusing on bringing out the flavors of the classic chocolate bar: Kit Kat Crunch Donut, Kit Kat Cookie Dream Donut and Kit Kat Salted Caramel Brownie Donut.

All three of the donuts are packed with chocolate and creamy wafers, similar to Kit Kats, and are available both in-shop for pickup or delivery on the Krispy Kreme app or website for a limited time starting on Apr. 10. A six pack of the donuts with the Kit Kat Crunch Donut and Kit Kat Salted Caramel Brownie Donut will also be available for a limited time.

“Life is busy. Take a break with our new Kit Kat Collection. Every creamy, crispy, chocolatey-sweet bite will help turn that busy day into a sweet one,” Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme, said in a press release.

The first special flavor being offered is the Kit Kat Crunch, which is a donut dipped in Hershey’s milk chocolate icing, and topped with Kit Kat pieces and chocolate-flavored crispies.

ith cookie dough flavored Kreme and dipped in Hershey’s milk chocolate icing. It is topped with chopped Kit Kat pieces, cookie crumbles and “semi-sweet” Hershey’s chocolate chips with a drizzle of cookie dough flavored icing.

The final offering, a Kit Kat Salted Caramel Brownie donut, is made up of an original glazed donut that has brownie batter-flavored buttercream, covered with chopped Kit Kats and brownie pieces and drizzled with salted caramel flavored ribbons.

This comes two months after Krispy Kreme introduced its limited-edition “Chocomania” collection with Hershey’s, which is the manufacturer of Kit Kat. Their collaboration of donuts included an original glazed donut version of New York’s infamous black and white cookie.

The limited-edition donut offerings also included a donut stuffed with dark chocolate fudge cream, a donut dipped in a milk chocolate icing and drizzled with extra chocolate and one Hershey’s chocolate cake overload donut.
