The 'Real Housewives of Miami' star said the couple, who have been together for more than a year, didn't fully breakup but "needed to take a beat"

Larsa Pippen is reevaluating how she handled her brief but public breakup with boyfriend Marcus Jordan.

In a new episode of the Two T’s in a Pod podcast, released Wednesday, Pippen, 49, told hosts Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and Tamra Judge how she regretted wiping photos of the pair together from her Instagram.

"I feel like I was very emotional ... I wish I didn't delete those photos," confessed the Real Housewives of Miami star. "I didn't even archive them, I couldn't archive them, I just deleted them. I was just emotional and impulsive I guess. I'm a Cancer so I'm an emotional person so I feel like if you're not loving me the right way I can distance myself and catch a beat."

On Feb. 12, news broke that Pippen and Jordan, 33, had called their relationship quits after more than a year of dating just before Valentine’s Day.

The revelation came after the Bravo star took to social media to scrub her Instagram account clean of photos with Jordan. She also posted a poll to her Story asking her followers, "Should your friends unfollow your ex?" as well as a video of Morgan Freeman speaking about trusting your "inner voice."

However, during the podcast, Pippen told Real Housewives of Orange County star Judge, 56, and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Mellencamp Arroyave, 42, that she and Jordan "didn't break up, we kind of needed to just take a beat, gather our thoughts and see if this relationship, you know what's going to happen in the future."

"It was like, we've spent a lot of time together and I feel like this was the point of, we're going to be together and get engaged or start working to the next phase, or we're going to break up. It's that phase of making the right decision for your relationship," she continued, adding that the duo had gone through a -

month of "not seeing eye to eye" and "not being in a great place."

A source told PEOPLE of the couple earlier this month, "They have decided to take some time apart to reevaluate their relationship. This has nothing to do with any family input, but solely for their personal growth.”

Also on the podcast, Pippen admitted that she found it "hurtful" to find out that her RHOM costars Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton would say she faked a breakup for press.

"They should both know that relationships are hard, they've both been through multiple marriages," she said.

Pippen's comment comes after her castmates gave their own opinion of her brief breakup with the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan.

On Monday’s episode of their iHeartMedia podcast Ay Por Favor, Patton, 57, made a controversial remark as she and Nepola, 56, questioned if the split was "staged."

“Now that other things have come to light, I’m starting to feel like we’ve all been scammed,” she said, accusing her costar of working with paparazzi to photograph the couple after they supposedly rekindled.

“I see the flowers, the paparazzi photos, I was like, ‘Oh my God. Is she playing all of us? That upsets me,' " said Patton.

Nepola agreed and said that it all seemed “very calculated.”

In photos taken on Valentine’s Day, Pippen wore a white dress and a diamond ring on a certain finger as she headed on a date night with Jordan in Miami.

During her interview with Mellencamp and Judge however, the mother of four further addressed her RHOM costars remarks, adding that the diamond ring is from her Larsa Marie collection and it is not an engagement ring.

"I live my life, I don't need the press," added Pippen.
