A Ray Donovan spinoff series is headed for Paramount+.

The Donovans is set to succeed the popular Showtime drama series. All 10 episodes will premiere later this year on Paramount+ for subscribers who have the Paramount+ with Showtime plan.

“With the most powerful clients in Europe, The Donovans will see family fortunes and reputations at risk, odd alliances unfold, and betrayal around every corner; and while the family might be London’s most elite fixers today, the nature of their business means there is no guarantee what’s in store tomorrow,” reads the series’ official synopsis.

Ray Donovan concluded in January 2020 after a seven-season run. The series premiered in 2013 and was canceled in February after the seventh season’s finale. Liev Schreiber starred in the series as the title character. He later starred in and co-wrote the 2022 feature film Ray Donovan: The Movie.

Guy Ritchie is at the project's helm, serving as director and executive producer. The series is written and produced by screenwriter and novelist Ronan Bennett.

“We’re going to deliver a show which provides massive thrills, entertainment and a huge rush of adrenaline for audiences around the world,” said Bennett, 68. “At the same time, I’m totally focused on exploring real characters, in body and in soul, and I’m committed to writing stories with deep dramatic impact.”
