Did somebody order U-bear Eats?

On May 12, a bear in La Cañada Flintridge, Calif., pulled off the heist of a lifetime, successfully raiding a family's fridge.

The mammal broke into the family's garage and their refrigerator, where it stole a snack for itself: a big slice of watermelon.

A video recorded by the children of the fridge's owner, Chris Yee, captured the curious bear crime and the kids' adorable reactions.

In the clip, the furry thief approaches the appliance before opening its freezer and fridge section.

"Dad, it's in the freezer! Dad, it opened the freezer," says Yee's daughter, while another voice sings, "Bear-y, bear-y, bear-y!"

While sitting in front of the now-open appliance, the four-legged intruder begins to inspect its contents, rummaging around and deciding what snack to bring on the go.

Then, the garage door begins closing, startling the critter, who leaves briefly but returns ("It's goi -

ng back in!") immediately after the door retracts.

During the wild animal's second foray into the garage, the bear burglar spends less time contemplating, opting instead for a quick scan before grabbing a juicy watermelon slice.

After taking off with the summery snack, the bear plops down in the Yee family's yard — just feet away from the scene of the crime — to enjoy the stolen fruit.

Speaking with Los Angeles outlet ABC7, Yee and one of his kids recalled their run-in with the watermelon thief.

"It seemed like it really just, you know, with its mouth, took that quarter piece of watermelon out without disturbing anything else, thankfully," Yee said.

"And then proceeded to find a safe spot to enjoy it."
