"It could be kind of an intense experience. It's not just flipping on any old show and just enjoying it," Cameron Hamilton tells PEOPLE of watching 'Love Is Blind' with wife Lauren Speed-Hamilton

Season 6 of Love Is Blind has captured the attention of the world, but season 1 OGs Lauren Speed-HamiltonandCameron Hamiltonare not among the viewers waiting on the edge of their seats for a new episodes to drop each week.

Speaking to PEOPLE about their partnership with Lay's for the launch of their new Sweet & Spicy Honey flavored chips, the couple explains why they haven't consistently kept up with the hit Netflix series, despite meeting and getting married on the show.

"I have seen clips of this new season, but I haven't dived in yet, like the rest of the world. I'm going to be honest, just from the past few episodes of season 5, I don't know," says Lauren, 36. "I'll keep watching and seeing what people are saying online and seeing how things develop and then that'll determine. If not, I may stay tuned in."

Cameron, 33, agrees: "I think that's pretty fair to say. I do think there is an element watching the show, even though — gosh, Lauren and I filmed that six years ago — there's still an element where watching it brings back that experience. Just seeing the pods kind of takes you back."

"So it could be kind of an intense experience," he continues. "It's not just flipping on any old show and just enjoying it. There's a certain level of investment for us, I think, watching the show. So it's just something to keep in mind."

That being said, the pair will always be grateful for the show that helped them find their forever love.

"I will say we love the franchise of Love Is Blind, obviously it brought us together, so I'll always be grateful," Cameron says. "That fact alone, I'm always a fan of the show. Will we watch every season? I mean, I'll always appreciate that they just keep the franchise going, baby."

Cameron added, "Five years, it is both a long time and not very much time ... it's gone by really quickly, but then there have been times where marriage takes a lot of work. You have to put in a lot to get to a good place, which I feel great about where we are. So, I'm really thankful for those times where it was challenging because it ultimately leads to a stronger marriage."

Over the years, fans have also called for the pair's return to reality television.

Though they've got a bunch going on — including running theirHanging with the HamiltonsYouTube channel, Lauren's We Have the Receipts podcastwith Chris Burns and her Amazon Freevee show The GOAT, as well as their new partnership with Lay's — the couple confirmed that reality television isn't totally out of the question.

"In the more immediate future, we're looking to make a return to television or continue on television," Cameron told PEOPLE in November. "We definitely are planning our return to TV. We hear people's cries for us to be hosts. And I think it would be a really wonderful thing. I really would love to help couples find love in this kind of unconventional way, not necessarily Love Is Blind, but maybe our own format. And I really love that idea of helping people find love."
